Chinese New Year Festival 2018 at Shang Palace

Guests will not only be able to indulge in special set menus created by Executive Chinese Chef Chow Wai Man and his team, but also enjoy live guzheng music for dinner on 15 February 2018 and for both lunch and dinner on 16 February 2018.

Two special set menus are available:
• The Prosperity Set for Bt25,888 net per table of maximum 10 guests
• The Longevity Set for Bt29,888 net per table of maximum 10 guests

Exclusively for this year, Chef Chow has created Lo Hei dishes to celebrate the auspicious occasion:
• Lo Hei Salmon for two to four persons at Bt1,288 net and for five to 10 persons at Bt1,988 net
• Lo Hei Abalone and Salmon for two to four persons at Bt1,688 net and for five to 10 persons at Bt2,888 net

Chef Chow and his culinary team have also prepared Chinese New Year goodies and a special Chinese New Year Hamper Set at Bt5,988 net for guests to purchase as gifts for their relatives and business associates.

The goodies, such as Lor Bak Go (Pan-Fried Turnip Cake) and Ma Lai Go (Steamed Sponge Cake), as well as small or large Nian Gao (Sweet Sticky Rice Cake), are priced between Bt388 and Bt688 net per item.

Guests can also enjoy special Chinese New Year dim sum and à la carte menus.

Additionally, an exuberant performance by dragon and lion dancers is scheduled on Friday, 16 February 2018 at 10:15 a.m. at the main entrance of the hotel’s Shangri-La Wing. This traditional lion dance ceremony is believed to bring in good luck, prosperity and happiness to guests and their families.
